Built by operators. Engineered for regulators.
Vigilic exists because the community banks and credit unions that carry the most regulatory weight per employee have access to the fewest modern compliance tools. We're building what we'd want to be using, if we were them.
We help the institutions that keep local economies running stay ahead of modern financial crime — without drowning in false positives.
Community banks and credit unions know their customers. They see the local business that opened last year, the retired teacher who's had the same account for thirty years, the small contractor who gets paid seasonally. That context is the most valuable signal in AML — and the one that rule-based, threshold-driven monitoring systems systematically throw away.
Vigilic's mission is to give these institutions compliance infrastructure that respects that context. Per-customer behavioral baselining. Network-graph investigation evidence. Cross-institution signal collaboration. All of it engineered to examiner standards, priced for institutions with real constraints, and deployable without a six-figure implementation contract.
We're building for the thousands of institutions that were never their customer in the first place.
From the founders' frontline frustration to a working platform with a design partner — in under a year.
July 2025
The frustration that started it.
Twenty years of AML operations at HSBC, Morgan Stanley, and Capital One told us the same story on repeat: brilliant investigators buried under alert queues, filing SARs against obvious noise, missing the cases that actually mattered. The tools were the problem. Vigilic started as a conversation about what a modern version should look like.
Founder Institute Penn West.
Graduated from the Founder Institute Penn West accelerator cohort. Validated the community-bank focus against dozens of operator and advisor conversations. Locked the 14-category feature taxonomy that would become the engine's backbone.
Non-dilutive capital.
Secured $1500K in non-dilutive capital through the Fintech Sandbox Data Access Residency and additional $590K through cloud-credit programs. Began integration conversations with Equifax, S&P Global Market Intelligence, Spatial Risk Systems, and the Associated Press.
Two more accelerators. MVP build in progress.
Accepted into gener8tor Bronze Valley Venture Lab gBETA and the IDEA Institute's IDEA Village Accelerator Program. MVP build underway.
Pre-seed fundraising.
Actively raising a pre-seed round to accelerate the engineering team and support our design partner deployment. Conversations in progress with institutional angels and early-stage funds focused on regulated B2B infrastructure.
