Careers

A small team. High leverage. Every hire counts twice.

We're not hiring a roster of generalists. We're hiring specific people for specific problems, and we hold the bar high. If you recognize yourself in what follows, we'd love to hear from you — even if there isn't a formal opening today.

01  /  What we value

Four principles that shape how we build, sell, and work together.

I.

Operators' empathy

The people who use Vigilic have stressful jobs. Examiners, personal liability, understaffed teams, and alert queues that never empty. Every design decision we make is filtered through the question: does this help a BSA officer at 9 PM on a Thursday, or does this add to their pile?

II.

Explainability as first-class

An unexplained model decision is not an option in a regulated environment. Every feature, every model output, every case we generate carries its full attribution trail. This is not a "later" problem. It is a day-one architectural commitment.

III.

Conservative claims

We do not make claims we can't defend. We do not invent statistics. We do not quote percentages that aren't traceable to an official source. In a market full of inflated marketing, being the vendor that doesn't overstate is a competitive advantage — and our buyers notice.

IV.

Small team, high leverage

We ship as a small team. That means every person takes ownership beyond their job title, writes their own code, and ships end-to-end. It also means we hire carefully — and the work is interesting, the blast radius of a good decision is large, and the context is shared.

02  /  Where we grow

Three functional areas where we'll be adding deliberate senior hires over the next 12 months.

Engineering

ML · Platform · Data

Engineers who have shipped ML in regulated environments, built distributed data pipelines at scale, or operated production infrastructure for financial-services workloads.

  • ML engineers (ensemble modeling, feature engineering)
  • Backend engineers (event-driven, streaming architectures)
  • Data engineers (financial-institution integrations)
Compliance & operations

Former BSA officers. Ex-examiners. AML SMEs.

We want domain experts embedded in the product — people who have sat across from examiners, owned SAR queues, and know how decisions get made inside a compliance function. Part-time and advisory engagements welcome.

  • BSA officer advisors
  • Former bank examiners
  • AML program leaders
Go-to-market

GTM & customer success

Commercial leaders who have sold regulated B2B infrastructure to community financial institutions. Customer-success specialists who have deployed compliance software inside banks. You understand our buyer; we'll trust you to own the relationship.

  • Enterprise account executives (community bank & credit union focus)
  • Customer success & deployment leads
  • Partnerships & channel development

If you read this and recognize yourself — let's talk.

We maintain an active list of candidates we want to hire when the timing is right. A strong introduction today often becomes a role in the next quarter. Email us directly with a note about what you'd want to own.
